We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  We will continue to comply with the provision of the Data Protection Act (“DPA”) until midnight at the start of 25 May 2018, after which we will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”) unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, together with any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation as amended or updated from time to time in the UK, and any successor legislation to the GDPR and the DPA (together “Data Protection legislation”).  We are the data controller of data you pass to us pursuant to this policy.

This policy sets out how we collect personal information from you and how the personal information you provide will be processed by us.  By visiting our website you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.  If you do not consent, please do not submit any personal data to us.

What information do we hold and how we will use it

You may give us information about you by completing enquiry forms on the website or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise.  The information you give us may include your name, email address, address/location and phone number.  We will retain this information while we are corresponding with you or fulfilling the task for which you instruct us.  We will retain this information for 5 years, unless you specify for us to keep it longer.

We may use the information we received and/or collect about you to fulfil our obligations under any contract we have entered into with you and to provide you with information, products and services you have requested.

Right to be informed

We have provided information regarding the processing of your data in the Privacy Notice. If you have any further queries, please contact the Company Directors.

Right to rectification

If you perceive your data to be inaccurate or incomplete, you should make a written request for it to be altered. We will strive to respond to your request within one month.

Right to erasure

You can request your personal data to be erased when processing is no longer required. We will discuss your request with you as soon as reasonably possible.

Right to restrict processing

You are able to request a restriction of data processing. This allows us to store your personal data, but we will not use it in any processing capacity. We will discuss your request with you as soon as reasonable possible.

If processing is based on consent (see Privacy Notice) you have the right to withdraw your consent. If you do so, we will stop processing the data.

Right to object

You have the right to object to data processing. You must do so in writing and clearly state your grounds for objection. We will discuss this with you as soon as reasonable possible and will stop processing unless we have legal grounds to override your objection.

 

How safe is your information

We will do our best to protect your personal data, but the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.  Any such transmission is therefore at your own risk.
